Yes, you can use your existing domain name. When everything is ready, we will point your domain name to the new website.
That is no problem we will register a domain name for you and transfer ownership of the domain to you.
There are 2 main website domain names to consider. The Irish domain names end in .ie and international (US) names end in .com. For example the IPU domain name is www.ipu.ie.
We have analysed over 100 pharmacy websites and have compiled all the information needed for a good pharmacy website into a form. Complete the form and we’ll combine your information with our technology to create a professional website for your pharmacy.
If you have pictures, just upload them and we will use them. If not, we have access to loads of suitable professional images.
To make it easy, we update the content on your behalf. So there is no need to learn a content management system or spend time figuring stuff out.
If a patient submits prescriptions via the mobile app or website, that data is encrypted and secure. All patient information is hosted on servers in the EU and complies with GDPR. There are simple tools for you to manage patient privacy settings.
The website uses Ecwid as the eCommerce engine. Ecwid offer multiple price options depeding on product qwhich costs from $9/month and is separately billed by Shopify. In Shopify you set up your payment details and products. We then add your products to the website. It is important that the online shop and payments are under your control.
The EU has introduced a directive to make websites more easily accessible to people with a disability. The directive is not yet law in Ireland and smaller businesses may not have to meet the harmonised European standard – EN 301549. Nonetheless we believe it is good practice for providers of healthcare services to make their website more easily accessible to users with a disability.
