We didn’t build the School Vaccination Hub on our own. We built it alongside hundreds of pharmacies vaccinating in nearly 1000 schools.
Three years ago, school vaccination clinics were still heavily dependent on paper forms, spreadsheets, emails and manual administration.
Since then, we’ve worked alongside hundreds of pharmacies and nearly 1,000 schools, seeing first-hand what makes school vaccination programmes work—and, just as importantly, what makes them difficult.
That experience has been distilled into the School Vaccination Hub.
A platform designed around one simple idea:
From Consent to Completion.
Three years of learning from real clinics
The best software isn’t created by guessing what people need.
It’s created by listening.
Over three vaccination seasons, we’ve worked with pharmacy teams delivering school vaccination programmes across Ireland. We’ve seen the challenges that happen before the first child arrives, the pressures of clinic day, and the administration that remains after the last vaccination has been given.
We’ve listened to pharmacists.
We’ve responded to real-world problems.
We’ve refined workflows.
And we’ve kept improving.
What started as a solution to one part of the school vaccination process has evolved into something much bigger: a complete workflow for managing school vaccination programmes from beginning to end.
We learned that vaccination day isn’t the real beginning
The biggest misconception about school vaccination clinics is that the work starts when the children arrive.
It doesn’t.
The clinic starts weeks earlier.
Parents need to provide consent.
Information needs to be collected.
Registrations need to be reviewed.
Classes need to be organised.
Children requiring further consideration need to be identified.
Changes need to be managed.
And the vaccination team needs to arrive on the day with everything ready.
If these things aren’t organised beforehand, the pressure inevitably moves onto clinic day.
That’s when small administrative problems become big ones.
Paperless consent was only the beginning
One of the first major steps in the evolution of the platform was moving away from paper-based consent.
Digital consent made it easier for parents to register and gave pharmacies access to information before the clinic.
But as pharmacies used the system, another lesson became clear:
Consent is only one part of the problem.
Even with digital registration, pharmacies still needed better ways to organise schools, assign children to classes, identify registrations requiring review and prepare for the day itself.
And after the clinic, there was still reconciliation to do.
So we kept building.
From Consent to Completion
The School Vaccination Hub brings the entire workflow together.
Consent
Collect paperless parent consent before clinic day.
Preparation
Organise schools and classes, review registrations and identify children requiring further consideration.
Clinic Day
Record every vaccination outcome confidently as the clinic progresses.
Completion
Finish with accurate records and minimal post-clinic reconciliation.
The important thing isn’t any individual feature.
It’s the connection between them.
Information collected during consent becomes part of preparation.
Preparation feeds directly into clinic day.
Clinic-day outcomes become the records needed for completion.
One workflow. One platform. From Consent to Completion.
Built from nearly 1,000 schools of experience
When we say the School Vaccination Hub has been shaped by real-world experience, we mean it.
Our learning has come from working with hundreds of pharmacies across nearly 1,000 schools.
That scale matters.
It means the platform has been exposed to different schools, different pharmacy teams, different clinic environments and the countless small variations that occur when you’re delivering vaccination programmes in the real world.
The result isn’t software designed around an idealised clinic.
It’s software refined around real clinics.
Three years of experience, distilled into one platform
Every vaccination season teaches you something.
A process that seems straightforward on paper may create unnecessary work in practice.
A small administrative task, repeated across dozens of schools, can become hours of work.
A problem discovered on clinic day is much harder to solve than one identified during preparation.
Over time, these lessons accumulate.
We’ve taken those lessons and distilled them into the School Vaccination Hub.
The goal is simple:
Move more work out of clinic day.
Prepare earlier.
Know more.
Record accurately.
Reconcile less.
A better way to run school vaccination clinics
The School Vaccination Hub isn’t about adding more technology to the vaccination process.
It’s about removing unnecessary administration from it.
It’s about giving pharmacy teams greater visibility before the clinic begins.
It’s about making clinic day easier to manage.
And it’s about finishing the programme without hours of paperwork and reconciliation waiting afterwards.
Three years.
Hundreds of pharmacies.
Nearly 1,000 schools.
One complete platform.
